Photography for Beginners is a hands-on, four-week introduction to the fundamentals of photography. Students will learn how exposure works, including aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, as well as manual camera settings, composition, and the use of natural light.
Each class will combine instruction, hands-on shooting, and review of student photographs. Students will also receive weekly assignments to practice their skills between classes.
Students do not need to own a camera. Digital SLR cameras will be available for use during class, while at-home assignments can be completed using a student's own camera, phone, or point-and-shoot.
